Join our local industry briefing session

Gentari Solar Australia and PCL Construction, in conjunction with the Industry Capability Network (ICN), will be holding an industry briefing session for the Maryvale Solar and Energy Storage Project at the Wellington Soldiers Club, on Monday, 2nd of June, commencing at 5:00 pm.

The Maryvale Solar and Energy Storage Project is a proposed renewable energy facility located near the town of Maryvale, 12 km North-West of Wellington. The Project combines the benefits of solar power and energy storage to create cheap, clean, dispatchable, and firmed power for New South Wales.

The Project will have the ability to export 172MW of green power into the electricity network, thanks to an installed capacity of approximately 240MWp of photovoltaics ‘DC-coupled’ with 409MWh of energy storage.

Major construction works will commence in July 2025 and will bring both direct and indirect benefits, including up to 360 jobs during the peak of the two-year construction period.

The procurement team will discuss the project and present the work packages listed on the ICN Gateway Portal page. There will be time at the end to discuss the project and meet with the procurement team, and they will be able to answer any questions you may have.
